Fairlite Consulting proudly served as the design engineers for the stone cladding at the podium of the Quay Quarter Tower (QQT). This 50-story skyscraper, overlooking Sydney’s iconic harbor, is a modern marvel. Despite its contemporary appearance, QQT is an extensive transformation of a 46-story tower originally completed in 1976.

The $600 million redevelopment, designed by Danish firm 3XN, retained nearly all of the original structure, reusing 95% of the core and 65% of the beams, columns, and slabs. This project reflects an innovative approach to sustainable architecture, breathing new life into a prime Central Business District (CBD) site while enhancing its appeal to tenants with improved floor plates and modern amenities.
